  In store service has been friendly and helpful for as long as I have lived here. However, we just got our carpet redone and used Home Depot’s service and it was quite possibly the most infuriating thing and I wasn’t even the one home with them all day. Their abilities (or lack of) to take care of our home (our furniture and walls that were JUST repainted) reflected that they had little experience in what they were doing. After the carpet was done and they left, there was dust, carpet shreds inside and outside, and scratches all over our staircase. To make matters even better, they didn’t even finish the job of putting furniture back, as they were paid to do. I’m no pretentious woman, but I honestly think we would’ve done it better ourselves, given we had the right tools. In conclusion, if you want carpets done go somewhere else.
